Product Highlights:

  • The Stone: Millions of years of history. Amethyst is purple quartz, colored by trace iron and natural irradiation deep in the earth. Until the 18th century, it was considered one of the five cardinal gemstones, ranked alongside diamond, sapphire, ruby, and emerald. Set with three vermeil gold beads and a vermeil gold logo cube.
  • History: The ancient Greeks inlaid their wine goblets with amethyst, believing the stone would prevent drunkenness. The Romans did the same, carving entire goblets from the stone. Medieval European soldiers wore amethyst amulets into battle, believing it kept them clear-headed under pressure. The Catholic Church adopted it as the stone of bishops and clergy, a symbol of piety and spiritual clarity. Anglican bishops still wear amethyst rings to this day. It sits in the British Crown Jewels, including St. Edward’s Crown. Cleopatra wore an amethyst ring. Catherine the Great collected it. A scarab-shaped amethyst bracelet was found in Tutankhamun’s tomb.
  • The Belief: In modern crystal practice, amethyst is a third eye and crown chakra stone, associated with mental clarity, calm, and spiritual awareness. Tibetans consider it sacred to Buddha and carve prayer beads from it. For over 2,000 years, men have worn this stone for one reason: to keep a clear head when it matters most.
  • Vermeil Gold: The gold elements are crafted from heavy vermeil. This is a solid sterling silver base coated in 3.5 microns of pure 24kt gold, making it about seven times thicker than standard gold plating. Because we use pure 24kt gold over silver instead of a thin layer over brass, the color is richer and highly durable. If it wears over time, it reveals solid silver beneath, developing character rather than looking cheap. Vermeil has been the standard for premium jewelry since 18th century France.

Our pieces are made with natural gemstones; slight variations in color, size, and pattern may occur.
