In Blue Tiger Eye, that process never finished. This preserves the original deep blue-grey color. The effect is darker, cooler, and more restrained. A moving band of light shifts across the surface of each bead as it catches light. This effect is called chatoyancy, from the French word for “cat’s eye.” Each bead is set between ornate sterling silver disc spacers and finished with a sterling silver clasp.

• History: Tiger Eye has been used as a protective talisman for centuries. Its moving shimmer looks like a watchful eye, making it a natural symbol of awareness across cultures.
