- History: This is the blue on the death mask of Tutankhamun. The Egyptians ranked it beside gold and buried their kings in it. For 6,000 years it came from a single place. The mountains of Afghanistan. The stone on your wrist left the same ground as the stone on the pharaoh’s mask.
- Meaning: They believed this stone cleared the mind. That a man who wore it saw a situation straighter, judged it better, and was harder to fool. The kind of thing a king wanted on the men who advised him.
