The Stone: Red Tiger Eye is golden Tiger Eye transformed by heat. When the iron inside the stone is exposed to high temperatures within the earth, it converts to hematite. The golden brown deepens into rich mahogany, cinnamon, and wine colors. The moving shimmer remains, acting like a bright band of light that slides across the surface of each bead as it catches the light. The warm red-brown tones against the vermeil gold logo bead make this one of the most visually cohesive bracelets in the collection.
- History: Tiger Eye has been used as a protective talisman for centuries. Its bright shimmer resembles a watchful eye, making it a natural symbol of awareness and vigilance across cultures. According to legend, Roman soldiers carried Tiger Eye amulets into battle for courage and protection. The stone’s name links it to the tiger, an animal respected across Eastern cultures as a symbol of power, patience, and strategic vision. Red Tiger Eye, also called Bull’s Eye or Ox’s Eye, is the final stage of the stone’s natural transformation. It begins as blue, turns to golden brown, and when exposed to further heat, turns red.
