- The Stone: Gold and brown, 6mm round beads in the Abacus design, with one band of light that slides as you turn it, like light across a cat’s eye. The color is rust. The stone is full of iron, and two billion years of slow oxidation turned it gold.
- History: It started as asbestos, then hardened into solid stone. Mined in South Africa. Older than bone, older than the first eye that ever opened. Every culture that found it reached the same word. An eye. Tiger, hawk, eagle, ox. Always something that watches.
- Meaning: Men carried it to see what was coming. Soldiers. Traders. Men who needed to read a room. Two billion years old, and it still looks like it is watching.
